Endowed with the ability to create prolifically, Matthew Frye, an emerging fine artist, supports his passion for painting by accepting 10-12 commissions a year. Committed to craftsmanship, Matthew Frye & Company designs are birthed from the artist’s heart and mind via hand sketches, carvings, paintings and even employ computer technology to push the effect. About The Artist

An emerging California artist, Matthew Frye’s work is characterized by intimacy, boldness of color, and profusion of life. Frye’s developed sense of artistic communication, champions intimacy with vibrant colors, forceful line, and visual rhythms that push the drama between pure abstraction and representational. “My passion for paintings often pays tribute to my deep seeded love for the Lord and my family,” notes Frye, “Besides God’s love, I am inspired by agriculture, fishermen, and the humor of life.” Frye studied in Italy, London, and California. He began pursuing painting seriously at Pepperdine University and continued drawing, painting and sculpting at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
